The Computer Literacy Program is designed for people with little or no knowledge of computing. It is also meant for people who have some computing skills that they might have learnt on their own (informally) and want to gain formal knowledge of basic computing.
Students are taken through the very basics of what a computer is and what it is made up of; to use the Internet effectively, to generate professional documents, making automatic computations to creating presentation documents and actually presenting them to audiences.
This program is the beginning of every students computing life, and when this solid foundation has been build the student can then explore other computing specialties.
The Computer Literacy Program is made up of five modules: Basics of Computing, Internet and Email Concepts, Microsoft Office Word (Basic), Microsoft Office Excel (Basic) and Microsoft Office PowerPoint (Basic).
